In my last article called Is Gender a choice?,” I explained that the transgender movement in our land is primarily a result of the influence of Cultural Marxism throughout our country and especially as taught in our schools. In this article I will explain that even though transgenderism is important and extremely destructive, it is not the ultimate goal. It is a means to an end.
In an earlier article, I demonstrated that Minnesota’s new teacher certification standards require prospective teachers applying for a license to teach in Minnesota public schools will be required to adopt and teach 11 specific Cultural Marxist doctrines. One of these doctrines is the ideology of transgenderism. To read about the other ten Cultural Marxist heresies, see “Minnesota’s War on Christians.”
One of these ten heresies is Equity, the central belief of Cultural Marxism. This heresy is referred to several times in the new teacher licensing standards. One such statement reads as follows:
. . . the teacher demonstrates the ability to create opportunities for students to learn about power, privilege, intersectionality, and systemic oppression in the context of various communities and empowers learners to be agents of social change to promote equity. (“Standards of Effective Practice,” 4,H, emphasis added.)
Equity is not the same as “equality.” “Equality” means equal opportunity, but “equity” means equal outcomes. Equity requires discrimination against whites, Asians, and males so that various racial and gender groups in aggregate have the same outcomes. “Equity” means the same as the slogan of Karl Marx, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” Equity requires socialism.
Scripture, however, says: “Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the rich. But judge your neighbor fairly.” (Leviticus 19:15)
Notice in the above statement that the standards reveal their purpose. It says: “to empower learners to be agents of social change.”
What “social change” are the standards speaking of? Whose “social change? Following the worldview of the standards, they are “the Great Reset,” defined and described in Klaus Schwab’s book, Covid-19 and the Great Reset. Klaus Schwab is the founder and CEO of the powerful World Economic Forum. Schwab describes the social change this way: most nation see themselves as being similar to ships on the sea. Some are bigger than others, some are wealthier than others, but all are independent and set their own course.
This view is mistaken, says Schwab. He says that countries need to change the way they see themselves and should view themselves as apartments on one big ship. This means nations will have no choice but to go wherever the captain of the big ship takes them. Nations will no longer be sovereign but will be subject to the big ship—the global government run by Marxists. This is the national identity our children are being indoctrinated in.
The “social change” purpose referred to in the Minnesota teacher licensing standards are also embedded into all subject areas through a teaching system called “culturally relevant teaching.” It is also embedded in the new Ethnic Studies curriculum, the new social studies standards, and Social and Emotional Learning programming (SEL).
Teacher candidates receiving their state certification after July 1, 2025, will essentially be required to become agents of the Marxist revolution. All Minnesota colleges and universities that certify teacher candidates to teach in Minnesota public schools after this date need to ask themselves if this is really their mission, as opposed to being institutions of higher learning.
Teachers already licensed must implement the new academic standards and the social emotional learning programs. Culturally relevant teaching has been part of teacher colleges and university programs for over a decade.
And for the globalists, as they say, “it’s all about the revolution.”
In contrast to this Marxist indoctrination of our children, Jesus said:
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
